Our very own Minister Dominique Williams, known by our partners as Minister Dom, recently sat down with Pastor Brandon after service to get his insights and thoughts concerning the history of Transformation Christian Fellowship as we prepare to celebrate our 2nd Church Anniversary!
One of the most interesting questions Minister Dom asked Pastor Brandon was, "What is the biggest lesson you've learned in these two years of building and planting a church?" Pastor Brandon's answer? "Never underestimate your enemy!"
This is such an important takeaway from this interview! In 2 Corinthians 2:11, Paul declares to the church at Corinth that,"...we are not ignorant of his devices", referring to Satan also known as the Devil. Satan does not want us to succeed in accomplishing what God has called us to do and achieve! In the midst of opposition and circumstances, we must trust in the Word of God that declares, "No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn..." (Isaiah 54:17). As I Peter 5:8-9 commands, we must be sober and vigilant, knowing that Satan prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking anyone to devour! We must continue to be alert and diligent to protect the work that God has placed in our hands to do!
