We had an awesome Vision Month here at Transformation Christian Fellowship! The word of The Lord concerning this year is THRIVE! To conclude this Vision Month, Pastor Brandon explained the connection between diligence and prosperity as well as our plan as a church to thrive financially this year in a message entitled "The Prosperity of The Diligent"!
Diligence is defined as "steady, earnest, and energetic effort". Here are some of the key points from this message:
1. We must be diligent in setting a budget!
Proverbs 21:5 NKJV: "The plans of the diligent lead surely to plenty, but those of everyone who is hasty, surely to poverty".
2. We must be diligent in avoiding debt!
Proverbs 22:7 NKJV: "The rich rules over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender."
3. We must be diligent in generosity!
II Corinthians 9:7 NKJV: "So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver."
In conclusion, we as believers must be diligent to grow and preserve our finances so that we may experience financial freedom, support the kingdom of God, and invest in the plans God has for prepared for us! The time of living captive to debt is over! We challenge you to create a plan to erase your personal debt so that you can thrive in this new year!
