There are moments in life when your faith feels drained. You’ve prayed, you’ve waited, and you’ve hoped, but discouragement tries to take over. In those times, God’s Word is your anchor. Scripture has the power to lift your spirit, renew your strength, and build your faith again.
Romans 10:17 says, “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.” When we hear and declare God’s Word, our faith grows. If you need a boost today, here are five Scriptures to lift your faith right now:
1. Hebrews 11:1
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”This verse reminds us that faith is confidence in God’s promises even when we can’t see them yet. Hold onto what God has spoken, because His Word will never return void.
2. Isaiah 41:10
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”When fear tries to take over, remember that God Himself is holding you up. His strength is your anchor.
3. Mark 11:24
“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”This verse encourages us to pray with expectation. When you pray, believe that God hears you and that He is already at work on your behalf.
4. Romans 8:28
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”Even when life feels chaotic, God is weaving everything together for your good. Trust His bigger plan, even when you can’t see the full picture yet.
5. Psalm 34:17–18
“The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”God is not distant from your struggles. He hears your prayers and draws near to comfort and deliver you.
